Raysa Khan, a final year PhD student wins the the First Prize for her PhD presentation at Sussex University Postgrad Research Colloquium 2017.
The first postgraduate research colloquium was held in September 2011. This was introduced as part of the annual assessment of research progress of doctoral students. The aim of the colloquium is to bring research students and faculty together from all our five subject-groups for a wider discussion of the on-going research projects within the School.
All third year research students (PhD
and MPhil) submit a poster in portrait format depicting the key aims and objectives and findings of their research project.
This is not an optional event; it is an essential requirement of the postgraduate training programme, which the School is committed to deliver. It is therefore expected that all postgraduate research students and their supervisors attend the event.
This year the Post Graduate Research Colloquium takes place on 13 - 14 December 2017 and Spencer Lab is happy to have its PhD student win the first prize.
